Sharam has kicked off 2010 in inimitable fashion. Having won the coveted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix Of The Year title at the end of last year he claimed the first Buzz Chart number 1 of this year with his haunting single ‘Don’t Say A Word’.

So far so good but after an intensive few weeks in the studio the former Deep Dish man, is only looking ahead. Sharam is now ready to unleash some of his most innovative and dynamic material yet.

Sharam commented:
“The Mach series is about my continuing evolution as a producer, making the kind of tracks that I want to hear on the dancefloor as a DJ. My philosophy has always been to create and promote good music void of any limitations. Touring recently in Europe, US, South America and Australia has got me buzzing, and I can’t wait to hit WMC with a stack of new tunes – its still the best place in the world to road test and launch new music”.

The first fruit of this forthcoming activity is the intriguingly titled ‘MACH 1 EP’, releasing April 7th on Beatport.

The EP features two tracks: ‘Love Love Love’ and ‘Hemi’, and acts as another reminder – if one were needed – that Sharam is the expert hand when it comes to crafting big room electronic bombs.

‘Love Love Love’ received its UK radio exclusive on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection at the end of February and has received its second week of exclusive play in March.
